INTRODUCTION
What is Compass?
The Levelized Cost of Carbon Abatement (LCCA) is a metric that measures the amount of CO2 reduced by using a cleaner technology. Compass is a dynamic modelling tool leveraging the LCCA to specifically analyze ammonia production strategies to reduce emissions over the upcoming decades.
OUR MISSION
Help Canada reach Net Zero
1.3%
Of global carbon emissions are from ammonia production
565 million
Metric tons of CO2 produced by Canada in 2018
Special thanks to Soukaina Skribbe for creating the time-dependant
LCCA model
and for generously providing materials that enhanced our project.
